New York: Ketua Pegawai Eksekutif (CEO) Amazon.com Inc, Jeff Bezos merampas semula ‘takhta’ sebagai individu paling kaya di dunia selepas gelaran itu jatuh kepada Ketua Pegawai Eksekutif (CEO) Tesla Inc, Elon Musk untuk tempoh enam minggu.
CNet melaporkan Bezos merangkul kembali kedudukan nombor satunya dengan kekayaan bersih 191.2 bilion dolar Amerika Syarikat (AS) (RM772.12 bilion) atau lebih 955 juta dolar AS (RM3.86 bilion) berbanding Musk apabila saham Tesla Inc merosot 2.4 peratus.
Dengan itu, kekayaan bernilai 4.6 bilion dolar AS (RM18.58 bilion) yang dimiliki CEO pengeluar kereta elektrik itu turut jatuh dalam kedudukan teratas ranking Indeks Billionaires Bloomberg.
Bezos yang sebelum ini memegang gelaran itu selama lebih tiga tahun hingga bulan lalu baru-baru ini mengumumkan untuk melepaskan jawatan sebagai CEO syarikat gergasi e-dagang itu pada suku ketiga untuk memberi tumpuan kepada projek lain.
Sementara itu, kemunculan Musk di media sosial kelihatan berterusan, namun saham Tesla merosot hampir 10 peratus dari paras puncak pada 26 Januari.
Beliau turut menyemarakkan GameStop Corp yang didorong oleh Reddit dan menyebabkan saham Etsy Inc, Shopify Inc, CD Projekt SA serta Signal Advance Inc melonjak menerusi ciapannya di Twitter yang mengujakan.
